COVID-19 CERTIFICATION for PPE, by notified body AITEXCertificate No. 20/3606/00/0161COVID-19 Masks The second version of our mask, improved with the integrated nose clip following feedback from our customers, has been tested according to EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 modified by RfU PPE-R / 02.075 VERSION 2 * by the notified body 0161 (AITEX). CE 0161 marking according to the requirements of the Regulation (EU) 2016/425. This regulation certifies our masks for protection against COVID-19, as requested by the recommendations of the World Health Organization. For this specific use, the nominal protection factor provided by these filter half masks is the same as the nominal protection factor FFP2 defined in EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009. According to the results of the tests carried out by AITEX, the average filtration efficiency of our mask is 98.1% (average penetration at 120 mg of sodium chloride 3.5 min: 1.9%), very close to the FFP3 level and therefore offering a very high personal protection for the user and his environment. Our masks are suitable for use in the healthcare environment, hospitals and in contact with patients infected with COVID-19, or in any situation where there is a significant risk of exposure to the SARS-CoV-2 virus.
* PPE-R / 02.075 version 2 is a test scheme for self-filtering masks based on the EN 149 standard, in which several sections of the EN 149: 2001 + A1: 2009 standard are applied. Masks conforming to this specification meet the Health and Safety Requirements of Regulation (EU) 2016/425. |
